Stock Photo - A large wooden construction shaped like an airship, built on the roof of the contemporary art DOX centre in Prague by architect Martin Rajnis, will be open to the public on weekend, December 10-11, 2016, (photo from Thursday, December 8, 2016). The structure will become part of the centre and it will mainly serve literature. Discussions and author readings will be staged there and visitors will be able to go the airship with their own book. DOX founder Leos Valka has cooperated with Rajnis, who is known for his structures that accentuate harmony with nature, for some time. Rajnis, who is also the author of the wooden post house of 2007 atop Snezka (1603 m), the highest mountain in the Czech Republic, had a retrospective exhibition in DOX on the occasion of the presentation of the Global Award for Sustainable Architecture 2014, which he won.
