Stock Photo - A Tatra 80 luxury car from the 1930s, which has been reconstructed for 28 years, was officially unveiled in the National Technical Museum in Prague today, on Monday, June 12, 2023. The original owner of the car was factory owner Heinrich Schicht fro Usti nad Labem, north Bohemia, whose family was known for soap and cosmetics production. He bought the Tatra 80 Cabriolet convertible in 1931. The car was reconstructed by Pavel Kasik, a lover of historical motor vehicles, who also presented a new book on the reconstruction of Schicht's Tatra 80. He said many people took part in the reconstruction of the car, some of whom already died. Not all effort to repair the car was successful, Kasik said.
