Aircraft manufacturer Deutsche Aircraft plans to build a sustainable regional aircraft here with the new turboprop type. According to the manufacturer, the D328 Eco is a more sustainable development of the Dornier 328 built in the early 1990s, and the plant is expected to create up to 350 new jobs. It will be able to assemble 48 aircraft per year in an area of about 62,000 square meters. The aircraft, which can seat up to 43 passengers, is considered one of the most modern and environmentally friendly regional jets.
