The 66-year-old I Won't Back Down singer, who fronts revered rock act Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, was found unconscious at his home in Malibu, California and taken to the UCLA Santa Monica Hospital, according to TMZ. Once admitted, Petty was reportedly put on life support. The rocker recently wrapped up a massive North American tour, headlining the Hollywood Bowl for three nights at the end of last month (Sep17). Sources tell TMZ Petty is in critical condition.
