Sir Richard Branson has hidden a trail of digital and physical coins across the country as part of the V Marks The Spot activity. Each coin has a unique code that, when entered into the Virgin Red app, awards points to unlock Vaults and prizes. The top prize, for 9 lucky winners, is a trip to Necker Island with Sir Richard in August where they’ll complete a treasure hunt on the island to find a treasure chest full of Virgin goodies. To launch V Marks the Spot this week, Virgin Red held a treasure hunt for customers at The Roof Gardens in Kensington where of one of the guests won the first place to Necker Island. Helen Newman from Croydon was over the moon with the prospect of accompanying Sir Richard Branson on his Caribbean island. The Virgin Red loyalty programme rewards customers for living a life more Virgin by providing access to offers and opportunities from across the Virgin UK Group (including Virgin Trains, Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Media, Virgin Games and Virgin Holidays) as well as a selection of handpicked Virgin partners*, including Caffé Nero.
