It is designed to pump utility water for irrigation in Egypt and is one of the largest types of inclined propeller pumps that can pump large quantities of water at low transport heights. It can transport 680 000 litres of water per minute to a height of two metres. This year, Sigma's national plant in Lutina will deliver a total of six of these BVPS-2000 pumps to Egypt.
