Stock Photo - Plaques at the ""denk.mal Hanover Rail"" memorial can be seen still wrapped at the Lohse Square in the Hafencity in Hamburg, Germany, 09 May 2017. The names of 7741 out of more than 8000 Jews, Roma and Sinti - who were deported from Hamburg by the Nazis between 1940 and 1945 - are inscribed in the plaques. The now demolished station will be the site of the memorial's inauguration on 10 May 2017. The ceremony will count with the participation of Hamburg Mayor Scholz, representatives from victims' association and one Holocaust survivor.
