Stock Photo - PRODUCTION - 17 November 2023, Saxony, Falkenstein: Ralph Ide is in the Falkenstein town archives. Ide researched Alfred Roßner, who was born in the small Vogtland town. As the fiduciary manager of a textile factory in Poland during the Nazi era, he saved the lives of several Jews by hiding them or enabling them to escape. The Gestapo found out about his activities and arrested him. He died 80 years ago in December 1943 in prison in what is now Sosnowiec. He bears the honorary title ""Righteous Among the Nations"" from the Israeli memorial site Yad Vashem.
