Alongside Santa Clauses with felt bodies, angels made of non-flammable absorbent cotton and pine cone gnomes, the almost 80-year-old figure is one of the traditional figurative festive items that were produced in a manufactory for dummies and Christmas tree decorations in the small town in northern Saxony from 1888 to 1958. The various Christmas ornaments, which were offered as a specialty with non-flammable absorbent cotton and natural materials, not only adorned Christmas living rooms in Germany but also overseas.
