A separate charging cable is not necessary. Free charging stations can be found and reserved using an app. The number of e-cars is growing, and with it the need for charging stations in public spaces. In the ""charging station ranking"" of the ""Association of the Automotive Industry"" from April 2022, the city of Frankfurt was almost at the bottom of the table, in 396th place: in Hesse's largest municipality, 65.7 e-cars had to share one charging station a year ago.
