Seven buildings were built here at a cost of around 40 million euros to prepare young men and women for the challenges of forestry work as foresters. Climate change, nature conservation and the maintenance of technology and the operation of large forestry machines are some of the training topics. Around 65 trainees are registered for the coming training year starting in September, and a total of 190 trainees are to learn here in three apprenticeship years. The site itself is to be ceremonially opened on September 1 with Minister President Kretschmer (CDU).
