The special productions for carnival associations, the uniforms for the Elferrat and the Tanzmariechen are particularly in demand. The small Altenburg company with ten employees is one of the few companies in Germany that still manufactures top hats and bowler hats, among other things, partly according to traditional traditions. More than 150 years ago, the small town in Thuringia was known as a world center for the production of the headdresses, which are already in demand again today.
