The Hamburg children's hospice Sternenbrücke celebrates its 20th anniversary on May 1, 2023. At the start 20 years ago, the children's hospice was only the second facility of its kind nationwide. The Sternenbrücke children's hospice currently cares for around 700 families; the idyllically located house in the Rissen district offers space for a stay of twelve families. Terminally ill patients up to the age of 27 can be admitted. More than 200 boys and girls have died in the hospice so far.
