Stock Photo - PRODUCTION - 28 June 2023, Saxony, Falkenhain: At Kräuterhof Falkenhain, Grit Nitzsche, known as the herb witch, harvests the ancient medicinal plant sweet clover. In her approximately 600-square-meter farm garden, everything currently grows that others regard as a weed and travel out. For her, her garden and nature offer delicious weeds and edible garden perennials and trees that, among other things, cause incredible amazement among participants as a 5-course menu at herbal cooking courses. The studied book scientist has for almost 20 years in the herb farm, which she cherishes together with her husband Jörg Benthien and at herb tours in cities, in the forest and in nature hundreds of interested people with wild plant nutrition, their healing properties and preservation familiarized.
