Thanks to its intramuscular fat, the animals' meat is considered noble and is popular in upscale restaurants. Feldmanns have been breeding their own Wagyu cattle in Mecklenburg Switzerland since 2016. Of the 200 cattle that stand on 150 hectares of meadows in summer, 30 to 40 animals would be marketed.
