Stock Photo - Record-breaking long-distance cyclist Mark Beaumont prepares to take on the R.White's Lemonade Penny Farthing One Hour World Record next month at the World Cycling Revival festival (June 15th). Beaumont, who holds the record for cycling around the world in 80 days, hopes to beat the 22 miles and 150 yards World Record, which was set in Massachusetts, USA, in 1886. The current English Record of 21 miles and 180 yards was set in 1891 at Herne Hill, London, where Beaumont will be racing this Summer . British lemonade brand R.White's is behind all penny farthing activities at the three-day festival, including the headline event, in celebration of its Victorian heritage, which dates back to 1845.
