Employees of the largest container terminal of CSD in Brno - Horni Herspice have been significantly involved in the development of Czechoslovak container transport. It is the largest of the fourteen Czechoslovak container transshipment points - its storage area can accommodate 370 containers. In continuous operation, two workers, a warehouse master and a crane operator, ensure 240 transhipment manipulations and the loading of 60 car units per day. In the first half of this year, the container terminal staff exceeded the plan by 8 per cent with 8,046 containers. The efforts of the comprehensive rationalisation brigade, consisting of CSD staff at the terminal, Czechoslovak container transport INTRANS and CSAD, are aimed at higher qualitative and quantitative containerisation utilisation.
