On Saturday morning 7 October, Hamas militants from the occupied Gaza Strip launched massive rocket attacks on Israel and attacked Israeli villages. There are 1,200 deaths and at least 3,000 injuries. The number of deaths from Israel's subsequent airstrikes on the Gaza Strip has risen to 1,050.
