Vystrcil and the delegation, comprised of politicians, businesspeople, representatives of scientific and culture institutions and journalists, are to stay in Taiwan until Friday. Vystrcil, one of the highest world politicians to visit Taiwan in the modern history, will meet supreme Taiwanese representatives, such as President Tsai Ing-wen, Prime Minister Su Tseng-chang, parliament head You Si-kun and several ministers. After the arrival in a hotel in Taipei, the Czech delegation had to undergo the first coronavirus test, while another one is scheduled for Tuesday within the strict preventive measures over the COVID-19 pandemic that the Czechs must follow.
