Stock Photo - The explosion of methane in the Dul CSM coal mine in Stonava, near Karvina, Czech Republic, on December 20, 2018, has already claimed five lives, mostly of Polish miners, while another eight are still missing, Ivo Celechovsky, the spokesman for the OKD mining company, has told journalists. There are about ten injured miners, who have been hospitalised. Mining rescuers are working under the ground, searching through the area in which the blast occurred.
