Stock Photo - The Petr and Matej Forman brothers demand 600,000 crowns from Pavel Sehnal, a candidate in the upcoming Czech local polls, for using the name of their father, the Oscar-winning film maker Milos Forman (photo), in his election campaign, the two parties to the dispute told CTK today, on September 25, 2018. Within the campaign before the October 5-6 elections, Sehnal, the minor extra-parliamentary Civic Democratic Alliance's (ODA) chairman and candidate for Prague mayor, has presented his plan to have the Prague Exhibition Grounds renamed the Milos Forman Park, after the late world-famous Czech-born film director who lived in the USA. The Forman brothers, the twins Milos Forman had by his first wife, originally gave consent to the renaming. However, Sehnal failed to tell them that he would present the plan within his election campaign, their lawyer Frantisek Vyskocil said today. The brothers set the sum of 600,000 crowns as a satisfaction for them to compensate the misuse of the Forman family name, a photo and the signature of Milos Forman and his quotation, the copyright for which is owned by Petr Forman.
