Stock Photo - The Prague City Court today, on Monday, January 9, 2023, acquitted former Prime Minister and presidential candidate Andrej Babis (ANO) and his former advisor Jana Nagyova in the Capi hnizdo (Stork Nest) case, which concerns a CZK 50 million subsidy for the construction of a congress centre in Central Bohemia. Judge Jan Sott is now reading out the verdict and will then give reasons for his decision. The judgment is not final, the prosecutor can appeal against it to the High Court in Prague.
