Stock Photo - The sculptor David Cerny, known for his provocative works and more recently for his collaboration with large developers, is preparing to open a permanent exhibition of his work. It is being set up in one of the buildings of the former Smichov distillery in Prague, Czech Republic, which had to be preserved for the sake of monument protection. The industrial building opposite the MeetFactory centre, which Cerny and his friends have been running for several years, will show some elements of the former distillery's operation in addition to his works and will offer space for exhibiting guests. The building of the former brewery has been reconstructed and is still standing in an empty space. One wall is decorated with perhaps Cerny's most famous work - one of the babies that have a barcode for a face and have been hanging on the Zizkov tower for many years. And next to the baby, you can see the inscription Musoleum in the distance, which combines the word museum and, ironically, Cerny's own word mausoleum, on April 19, 2023. (CTK Photo/Libor Sojka)
