Stock Photo - Visitors can reach the top of the Space Needle via elevators that travel at speeds of approximately 18 km / h. The duration of the journey is about 45 seconds, some tourists are forced to queue for hours to climb to the top of the tower. On windy days the lifts reduce their speed to 9 km / h.
