The Motorica company (VEB.RF Group), the Medical Center of the Far Eastern Federal University (FEFU) and the Neurobiology Center of the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) have performed Russia's first operation to implant electrodes to add sense of touch to bionic hands. Electrodes have been attached to the nerves to provide electrical stimulation.
