On sale in the shops now are near replicas of the Queen's Guards Uniform which she wore at the Trooping of the Colour last year. Ot consists of a scarlet su-d-n- jacket trimmed with gilt plastic and gold braid, navy sued-n- for the skirt and a twirl of fur-cloth with a feather in it for the hat. The tunic has single buttons, instead of the groups of three - but like the Queen's it d p on the men's side. The uniform cost 55/ - each and are made to fit little girls between seven and eleven years of age. The children wear Wellingtonboots to complete the outfit. Little boys are hot forgotten, either - for them are replicas of the navy blue uniform to be worn by the troops who will line the Coronation route, and also replicas of the full dress uniform of the Guards.
