This number reveals the actual crisis of the personnel structure of the Roman Catholic church. The Revelation comes from the pages of the 'year book of the church' which also reveals that today 700,000 nuns are still actively working for the church. Always following the official statistics of the year book of the church, the number of catholics throughout the world amounts to 683 millions faithful which means: 18.3 percent of the world population.
