Stock Photo - A disabled children's ward at Caterham Imbeciles' Asylum. Like its twin at Leavesden, the asylum was established in 1870 by the Metropolitan Asylums Board for London's sick poor with mental conditions such as epilepsy and severe learning difficulties.
