Stock Photo - A march of Italian artisans in historical costumes in the streets of the old centre of the city marked the beginning of Italy´s presidency of the Council of the European Union on July 5, 2014. The presentation of the artisans was followed by music and the opening of an Italian market from the early 20th century, all performed by the Le Arti per Via group from Bassana del Grappa, about 70 km from Venice. The group, which is in fact a museum in motion, has been reviving the world as it was 100 years ago. The event was organised by the Italian Cultural Institute, the Italian Embassy in Prague and Prague´s central district. Italy has been the new president of the Council of the EU since July 1, replacing Greece who held the post in the first six months of the year. (CTK Photo/Roman Vondrous)
