The Brandenburg Gate in Berlin was built between 1789 and 1793 under Prussian King Friedrich Wilhelm II based on designes by Carl Gotthard Langhans. The Quadriga sculpture on top of the gate was designed by sculptor Johann Gottfried Schadow. Mini-Europe is a park located in Bruparck at the base of the Atomium in Brussels. In the park, the most impressive monuments in the European Union are recreated on a scale of 1:25. Around 350 buildings from 80 cities are represented.
