The picture was taken at a POW camp in Leigh, Lancashire and shows 1 1/2 lb of bred, 1/2 lb meat, 1oz of coffee or 1/2 oz of tea, 1/2 oz of salt, 2oz of sugar, 1/2 oz of pepper, 1/20th of a 1lb tin of milk, 8oz of fresh vegetables, 1oz margarine and 2oz of rice, beans, lentils or peas. Sounds quite generous!
