The bearer of the Knight's Cross with Oak-leaves and Swords and brilliants has died last Wednesday at the age of 74. More than 3,500 fellow-soldiers and friends from all parts of Germany, from Austria, South-Tyrol, Holland and Finland among them more than 15 bearers of the Knight's Cross from the second world war and several leading men of the national -Democratic-Party of Germany (NPD) - took part in the mourning-celebrations. Friends of the deceased with about 70 wreaths followed the Coffin of Dietrich, which was decorated with a white cloth (on it a Knight's Cross), a helmet and the general's dagger as well as with Flowers, and which was buried by six bearers of the Knight's cross(our Photo).
