The flower-laying came during the tour of Red Square which Ivanishin and his crewmates conducted as part of a series of activities leading up to their launch to the International Space Station Nov. 14 on the Soyuz TMA-22 spacecraft from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Ivanishin, along with NASA astronaut Dan Burbank, Expedition 30 commander, and cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov, Soyuz commander (both out of frame) will arrive in Baikonur Oct. 31 for final prelaunch preparations.
