Stock Photo - Autumn Sheep on the way to Hanmer Springs, South Island, New Zealand. Drove across from Westport on the West Coast to Hanmer Springs today. An incredible drive, and no doubt would have been even more spectacular has it not been cloudy all day. Though it was about time to have the photo of the day of some of the 40 million+ sheep in New Zealand that out number the population of c.4 million 10 to 1! Didn’t arrive till late, as we stopped off for jet boating and a gorge swing in the Buller Gorge. As luck would have it, Hanmer Springs has fantastic springs. Relaxing in the pools ranging from 36 to 41 degrees made for a pleasant way to end the day after the long drive.
