The door contains six rectangular panels, two by two in a row of three. The two middle panels are approximately three times as large as the other four. The four panels below and above contain carved floral motifs and tendrils and are partly inlaid with walnut. Four representations have been placed on the center panels. On the left panel, a dove with a palm branch between its beak is shown at the top and a shepherd with two lambs playing at the bottom (Orpheus). On the right panel, at the top, is a staff with a winding snake around it and at the bottom a naked man with a shawl and raised arms, next to him two lions and above that the letter D (Daniel in the lion's den).
