The Collado de Alfrecho is a high mountain pass at an elevation of 1.717m (5,624ft) above sea level, located in the Cabrera mountain range in the autonomous community of Madrid, in Spain. The road to the summit is sometimes gravel, rocky, tippy, and bumpy. This is a 4x4 track, only for experienced drivers. The track is usually impassable from November to April, depending on the weather conditions. The small summit offers spectacular views of the mountains and nearby cliffs. The pass is the starting point for many hikes, including the popular Trail of the Lakes, which lasts 5 hours, and covering a distance of 10.1km.
