Stock Photo - Dec. 04, 1957 - Tragic crash at Lewisham, London ? More than forty people feared to have lost their lives in the crash of as steam train from Cannon street to Deal, into the rear of the 5-18 electric train from Charing Cross to Hayes soon after 8 pm in dense fog just outside of St. John?s Station, Lewisham. Part of the wreckage crashed into the supports of a flyover, brining sections down on to the crashed train.
