Stock Photo - Dec. 12, 1964 - A Figure of Christ carved from Coal-Dust and Fibre Glass is errected on a Sussex Church: A 10-feet high figure of Christ made form coal-dust, mixed with fibre glass - has just been placed into position on the newly built church of St. John, at Broadbridge, near Horsham, Sussex. It is the work of 61-year -old Mr. Bainbridge Copnall, President of the Royal Society of British Sculptors, at his studio near Canterbury, Kent.
