The 1905 in Zablotow/Galicia born Sperber wrote many no vels and gained a name as witty politically- literary essayist, Sperber explained partially autobiographical the communism and every totalitarism. To his most known publications one can countthe novel-triology 'Wie eine Trane im Ozean'(1961) (Like a tear in the ocean), 'Der Wassertrager Gottes' (1974) (The wate-carrier of god), 'Die vergebliche Warnung' (1975) (The vain warning), 'Individuum and Gemeinschaft' (1978) (individual and community) and 'Churban oder die unfaBbare GewiBheit' (1979) (Churban or the incomprehensible assurance).
