Stock Photo - Doctors of Prerov hospital completed a series of unique operations at seven-year old Veronika Hambalkova with a rare congenital brittle bones. Doctors gave her special telescopic nails into four long bones in both legs. Special telescopic nails were developed in Canada and this is the first use in the Czech Republic. Veronika Hambalkova should be able to stand to her feet for the first time in her life after three months, according to doctors.
