Stock Photo - East front of Eaton Hall, Cheshire, 1845. Eaton Hall was rebuilt in Gothic style between 1804 and 1812 by William Porden for Robert Grosvenor, 1st Marquess of Westminster. Further additions and modifications were made to the house in 1823-1825 and 1845-1846, before it was again rebuilt between 1870 and 1883. It was demolished in 1961 before yet again being rebuilt in the 1990s, this time in the style of a French chateau. Eaton Hall remains the country seat of the Dukes of Westminster.
