The Passion façade was the first of the three façades of the Sagrada Família to be built and was completed in 1924. It is dedicated to the tragic side of the life of Jesus. The façade is decorated with figures from the Passion of Christ such as the Virgin Mary, Saint John and the apostles. The figures are made of stone and glass mosaic. The facade is decorated with a large number of angels, symbols and architectural elements. The façade is one of Gaudí's masterpieces and one of Barcelona's architectural jewels.
