For his car is enough to take the breath away from any police patrol. Ted, of Marsh Lane,Addlestone, Surrey, has turned it into a drinker's delight - a pub on wheels! Assisted by bricklayer Don Penfold (25) he has just spent two months creating the pop art masterpiece. They have named it 'Psychedelic Hangover' - The Poor Man's Answer to John Lennon. Green hop vines are painted on a white roof. A beer pump is mounted on the wood grained bonnet set out as a bar. A Guinness Toucan serves as a stand for the wing mirror. The yellow body is covered as a stand for the wing mirror. The yellow body is covered with the labels of bottled beer. The boot lid boasts a dart board with a set of darts welded to it and a light mounted over the top. Ted, who trained as a cartoonist, said: 'I'm not worried about attracting the attention of the police. Seeing a car decked out like this they'll reckon we must be fit to drive or we wouldn't advertise. 'It was great fun going round all the pubs buying all brews of bottled beer for the labels and tops! Don and I are both party lovers but we'll be taking special care over how much we drink in future. Now when we stop at pubs all the customers drain out to inspect our handiwork.
