A Dominican friar and preacher, endowed with a keen wit, he cultivated satirical poetry with an eschatological and muddy theme. It represents, with respect to Valencian literature, the equivalent of the Rector of Vallfogona for Catalan. Also it received the nickname of ""Valencian Quevedo"". He studied at the University of Orihuela and then was a professor at the University of Valencia. His fame lasted in the memory of the people until well into the nineteenth century.
