The name of Herman's uncle, the Holocaust survivor Jiri Brady, 88, who has written and lectured on the Holocaust all over the world, has been on the list of personalities to be awarded by Zeman on the national holiday on October 28. Now it is deleted from the list, Herman said. The Dalai Lama arrived in the Czech Republic to attend the Forum 2000 conference. He met Herman on this occasion.
