An eight-lobed batiste centerpiece is bordered by ecru-colored lace with large, lobed, shield-shaped reserves in the corners and smaller reserves in the middle of the sides. The contours of the corner reserves are formed by small c-volutes and rocailles with lattice work (needle lace). In the reserves there are fine, curved twigs with dwarf gnomes, forget mineites (bobbin lace) and ranunculus (needle lace).
