When the frigate arrived at Brisbane, Australia, a welcoming crowd cheered when they thought they saw Prince Charles on the bridge. In fact, they were cheering Lieut. It was only after Lieut Sanderson disappeared from the bridge and Prince Charles, also a lieutenant, appeared that the crowd realised their mistake. Lieut. Sanderson said afterwards that he had realised he was being mistaken for Charles. 'I thought it jolly amusing.' he said. 'But there was nothing much I could do about it.' Photo Shows: Lieut.
