Stock Photo - Jan. 07, 1965 - 7-1-65 Two policemen wounded and dog killed in Kensington gun drama ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú Two policemen were wounded and a police dog was shot dead in a Kensington gun drama last night. It started after a white Mercedes which was being chased by police crashed into two other vehicles which had collided second earlier in Old Brompton Road. What looked like a traffic accident suddenly exploded into a shooting in gangster-film style. A man dashed from the Mercedes into a nearby basement, the police dog Simon II was sent after him. The dog was shot dead. The wounded policemen were Constable Roger John Cross and Constable Michael Whensler. Later 22 year old John Marson, 21 year old Mrs. Chloe Castle and another man were taken away.
