Capable of tracking down and sinking submarines, the MK 32 is now in use with surface units of the fleet. In addition to its homing capabilities, its ease of launching makes it a readily adaptable weapon, the Mk 32 does not have to be fired form a torpedo tube but is merely tossed over the sode of ship from an open launcher.
