General elections all over the country: For the second time since the foundation of the Republic of Lebanon, the indigenous population elects its legal diet. And it happened for the first time that women were given the privilege to vote. The elections were necessary because three ministers had resigned, within a three years period. Camille Chamoun, the 'new strong man of the Lebanon' is said to be much like man and politician. When he dissolved the parliament, he 'declared the war to corruption and pseudo Parliamentarism'.
